Recycling Center
The Town Recycling Center is located on Hwy N, adjacent to the north side of the Town Hall and is a convenience for Town of Bristol residents. An attendant is staffed during open hours to answer questions and to monitor the facility. With the purchase of a recycling permit, a resident can dispose their trash and recyclables. Bristol contracts with Pellitteri Waste Systems for the handling of the materials received. The Recycling Center is for the use by Town of Bristol residents only.
Identification is required to use the facility.
The Centers gate will close sharp at the posted hour, leave yourself enough time to dispose of your items and exit before the closing time.

Hours:
November 1 – March 31: Saturday from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm.
April 1 – October 31: Saturday from 7:30 am to Noon; Monday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Note: In the event that the hours of operation fall on a Holiday, the Recycling Center will be open another day chosen to accommodate the closing of the holiday. Changes will be posted on the website, Town Hall bulletin board and Recycling Center.
Services:
You must be a town resident to use the facility. Identification is required to purchase a yearly or daily pass. The recycling center accepts trash, recyclables and yard waste. Additionally, there is a burn pile for branches and clean, untreated wood and an iron dumpster for scrap metal. See the Recycling Center Guide for accepted and non-accepted items.
Cost:
The Recycling Center is a service for the Town of Bristol residents. A permit is required and is available for purchase at the town hall during office hours. A yearly permit costs $210, allowing unlimited use of the recycle center. A second permit is $20 and regular fees apply for permits beyond two. First permit price is prorated quarterly. Alternatively, you may purchase a single use visit for $20 from the recycling attendant. ONLY CASH OR CHECK ARE ACCEPTED.
