The Town Recycling Center is located on Hwy N, adjacent to the north side of the Town Hall and is a convenience for Town of Bristol residents. An attendant is staffed during open hours to answer questions and to monitor the facility. With the purchase of a recycling sticker a resident can dispose their trash and recyclables. Bristol contracts with Pellitteri Waste Systems for the handling of the materials received. Please review their website and Town of Bristol's flyer for more information on properly disposing materials.
November 1 – March 31: Saturday from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm.
April 1 – October 31: Saturday from 7:30 am to Noon; Monday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Note: In the event that the hours of operation fall on a Holiday, the Recycling Center will be open another day chosen to accommodate the closing of the holiday. Changes will be posted on the website, Town Hall bulletin board and Recycling Center.
The recycling center accepts trash, recyclables and yard waste. Additionally, there is a burn pile for branches and clean, untreated wood and an iron dumpster for scrap metal. See the Recycle Center Guide for accepted and non-accepted items.
The Recycling Center is a service for the Town of Bristol residents and a purchase of a sticker is required. A yearly sticker may be purchased for $200, allowing unlimited use of the recycle center. A second sticker is $20 and regular fees apply for stickers beyond two. First sticker price is prorated quarterly. The stickers are for sale at the Town Hall during business hours or from the recycling center attendant. Alternatively, you may purchase a single use visit for $20 from the recycling attendant.
