Provides the residents of the City of Sun Prairie, Town of Sun Prairie, Town of Bristol, and Town of Burke with quality fire, rescue, and emergency services.

Public Information:

Open burning cannot be done in residential areas within 200 feet of an adjacent structure except during designated open burning weekends. The Town Board designates these weekends for spring and fall yard cleanup. Dates are posted on the website and at the Town Hall. Before beginning any open burning, call the Sun Prairie Fire Department non-emergency number (608-837-5066) and leave the required information on the recorder. A written permit is no longer required.
